Pastoral Transition Prayer Focus

August / September 2021

“Moses said to the LORD, ‘May the LORD, the God of the spirits of all mankind, appoint a man over this community to go out and come in before them, so the LORD’s people will not be like a sheep without a shepherd.'”
Numbers 27:15-17

Pray for the Search Process:

• Search Consultant, NL Moore: Pray their team would have wisdom and be led by the Holy Spirit as they pursue and present qualified candidates to be lead pastor of Oak Pointe Church Novi.
• Succession Planning Team: Pray they continue to seek the Lord for wisdom, discernment, clarity, and confirmation regarding potential candidates.
• Advisory Team: Pray for unity, insight, spiritual protection, and perseverance as they share their insights and perspectives.
• Potential Candidates: Pray for clarity and conviction as to how God is directing their life and ministry.

Pray for Oak Pointe Church:

• Novi Congregation: Pray for assurance of God’s comfort, love, and protection while patiently waiting. Pray we would continue to walk in faith and unity, seeking God daily with an expectant heart.
• Bob & Shirley Shirock: Pray their eyes would be on the Lord and their ears would be open to his calling during this season of transition.
