Global Missions
Oak Pointe Church seeks to see the gospel spread across the street and around the world.
To strategically accomplish this mission, we have partnered with a variety of gospel-centered ministries and missionaries that are faithfully advancing God’s kingdom in diverse contexts. These partnerships focus on discipleship, church planting, Bible translation, leadership development, and serving unreached and underserved communities. Through prayer, financial support, and long-term collaboration, we joyfully join these partners in seeing lives transformed and the gospel proclaimed to the ends of the earth.
"But you will receive power when the Holy Spirit comes on you; and you will be my witnesses in Jerusalem, and in all Judea and Samaria, and to the ends of the earth."
Acts 1:8
The Timothy Initiative (TTI)
The Timothy Initiative exists to advance Christ’s Kingdom by multiplying disciples and disciple making churches around the world.
The Timothy Initiative (TTI) is a global ministry focused on making disciples and planting multiplying churches, with the vision of a church in every village. Using a disciple-making model based on 2 Timothy 2:2, TTI trains local leaders to share the Gospel and establish self-sustaining churches. The ministry primarily serves unreached people groups and partners with churches and individuals worldwide to advance its mission through prayer, training, and financial support.
TTI has planted more than 180,000 churches
Seed Company
Seed Company is a ministry dedicated to accelerating Bible translation into the heart languages of people who do not yet have Scripture they understand.
Their mission focuses on connecting local translation teams with training, resources, prayer partners, and investors so God’s Word can be made available more quickly around the world.
Founded in 1993 as an affiliate of Wycliffe Bible Translators, Seed Company partners with national translators, churches, and global organizations to tackle Bible poverty, especially among language groups without any portion of Scripture.
The ministry emphasizes collaboration and innovation, including training local leaders and using technology to speed translation so communities can engage with God’s Word in oral, written, sign, and digital formats.
Mustard Seed Network
A network of church-planting churches in urban Japan
Mustard Seed Network is a ministry focused on glorifying God by making disciples through planting gospel-centered churches in urban Japan. Founded with a vision to saturate Japanese cities with churches that proclaim Jesus, the network has established multiple church plants in cities like Nagoya, Osaka, Tokyo, and others.
To advance this mission, Mustard Seed Network recruits, trains, and deploys long-term missionaries and church planters, supporting them through language and cultural preparation and ongoing development. Through collaboration, evangelism, and biblical teaching, the ministry seeks to grow authentic Christian communities and extend its impact across Japan’s largest urban areas.
Christ Bible Institute
To equip Christians in Japan for the work of gospel ministry
Christ Bible Institute (CBI) Japan is a seminary based in Nagoya that exists to equip Japanese believers for gospel ministry so the glory of Christ is both cherished and proclaimed throughout Japan. It provides theological education, practical training for church planters and pastors, and resources to strengthen and revitalize churches across the country.
CBI’s work includes seminary programs, church planting support, counseling training, and gospel-centered media and publishing to help deepen Christian faith and service. The ministry partners with a diverse team of Japanese and international leaders under Mission to the World (MTW) Japan, and focuses on creating a ripple effect of discipleship and gospel growth within Japanese society.
Fundación Rescate
Fundación Rescate was started in 2012
to provide a safe home for foster children.
Fundación Rescate Ecuador is a nonprofit dedicated to rescuing, rebuilding, and restoring children, youth, and families through the love of God in Ecuador. Their mission centers on providing a safe haven for children coming out of abusive or unstable home environments through their Casa Rescate foster home, meeting immediate physical, emotional, and spiritual needs while pointing them to God’s love and hope.
Founded to respond to the urgent needs of vulnerable children and families in the Ecuadorian Amazon, Rescate works to offer support not only to the children in care but also to their families through counseling and restoration efforts that help rebuild healthier home environments.
Bold Hope
Bold Hope leads short-term mission trips that partner with local leaders to serve underserved communities through practical support, relationship-building, and sharing the love of Christ.
Oak Pointe Church’s mission teams partner with Bold Hope to serve Haitian Dominicans living in Bateyes (sugarcane worker camps) and transitional communities.
Bateyes (bah-TAYs) are small settlements in the heart of the sugarcane plantations where people work long hours for limited wages. Life in the bateyes often means going without basic resources like safe housing, education, clean water, and access to medical care.
More than just short-term work, Bold Hope’s mission trips are designed to connect volunteers with lasting ministry initiatives that continue long after the trip ends, encouraging both community impact and personal spiritual growth.
Baja Bound
Baja Bound Ministries is a Christian organization that partners with volunteers to build safe homes and share the love of Christ with underserved families in Baja California, Mexico.
Baja Bound Ministries is devoted to serving impoverished families in the agricultural communities around Ensenada, Mexico, by demonstrating the love of Christ through practical service and gospel-centered outreach. For more than 25 years, Baja Bound has invited people and groups from the U.S. to join them in building safe, weather-proof homes for hard-working families who otherwise live in substandard conditions.
The ministry coordinates mission experiences that provide logistics, materials, translators, leadership, and support so volunteers can help construct houses and participate in creative service opportunities like programs for children and community outreach.
