Devotion
The first thing the Israelites did on the other side of the Red Sea was sing. The experience of Salvation along with a decisive break with the sinful past and commitment to a new life results in a new song – full of joy and truth and praise to God. The joy of the Lord needs to be our strength – joy that comes from the Lord and comes from knowing the God of our salvation.
The Big Question
Are you experiencing joy? Not happiness that depends on circumstances, but a deeper kind of joy that comes from knowing you are a new creature, right with God, and sure to live in paradise forever?
