A vital part of Lifepath is serving God with your skills and gifts!

We want every believer to "Go!" and minister to those outside and inside the church. Our ministries here at OPC are dependent on folks like you who are using God-given talents to serve Him.

Each of the eight areas on this page offer volunteer opportunities - many which can be your "first serve" (places where you can try out serving without making a commitment right away).

• Click a box to see the opportunities in that area.
• If you would like more information about a particular ministry, select the "Try This!" button. You will open a form page from which you can select one or two ministries that you have some interest in and would like more information about. Don't worry, it doesn't commit you to serving in any ministry area!
• You will be contacted by someone to discuss the options in more detail and next steps. If the selected ministry isn't the best fit for you, you can try a different area until you're in just the right spot.

1. Golf Outing Serving Opportunity
   The annual golf outing to benefit Living Hope International is coming up on August 8th, and the planning team is looking for volunteers to help with registration from 11:45 a.m.-1:45 p.m. Contact Mike Farrell at mfarrell@computingsource.com if you’re interested. You’ll have a blast!
2. Looking For TVs
   Do you have an old television set lying around your house that has been replaced by a new flat screen TV? We’d like to give it a good home in XP45! We’re also looking for any old video games that play on it. Please call Grace at 248.912.0043, or email grace@oakpointe.org if you’re willing to donate your TV.
3. Special Needs
   Do you have a heart for kids with unique challenges, and their families? Do you have experience with special needs? If your answer is “yes” to either question, we’d love to talk with you! Adventureland is looking for people to be Special Buddies, and give the extra support needed for children with special needs. Serve as often as every week, or as little as once a month. 4. Are You One of Adventureland’s 200?
   Adventureland has 200 one-hour volunteer spots to fill this summer. Come have fun once or twice this summer...no preparation required! Sign up at the downstairs Adventureland Volunteer Check In Station this weekend by the Adventureland hallway or email Angela at angela@oakpointe.org or call at 248-912-0043.
5. Join the Crew!
   We’ve got two opportunities for you to meet some new people and serve at the same time. Our usher team and our security team could really use your help! The ushers help people find seats when they arrive in the service, and the security team keeps our Adventureland areas safe. You’ll be playing a very important and vital role in the life of our church! Both teams are on a rotation, so you’ll only serve once a month.
